Thank you so much for knowing this stuff and being clear. As someone disgusted by the fake-service dog industry and really saddened by the number of women with emotional support animals- alleged or real - who have made travel for folks with actual service dogs more and more difficult, I hope women choose to acknowledge and respect the difference.

My dog Gracie & I were a certified therapy team at a local hospital. It would have been wonderful for me to have her at Festival - she made my life sweeter and much easier to enjoy. So does my new companion Zoey. That isn't the same as being essential to my physical health, agency, and safety.

I'm speaking up because womyn with service dogs shouldn't ever have to - those of us who love dogs should be their strongest allies.
