I'm sure you know her and if you do know her, you love her. If you don't know her, you will soon love her. I am so very pleased to say Thank you so much, Paloma Rosales, for agreeing to be our WOC coordinator.
Meet Paloma As an artist and a drummer, I've been nurtured and influenced by some of the most amazing people on my life path. It's mostly lesbians and womyn of color (such gems!) who have shown me the value of inclusiveness, politics, courage, looking out for each other, speaking up even if I'm afraid, honoring our ancestors, celebrating, eat, cook and to be swept away in love. These things and so much more. Especially the rule that no one should leave here feeling bad. Where ever 'here' may be. The Detroit Women's Coffeehouse, Festivals & W.O.C. at Michigan, fundraisers, potlucks, workshops and Womyn's Communities have fed me from a baby dyke to the crone I am today. Hence I'm happiest in a circle of womyn! It's my honor to be the keeper of the W.O.C. tent for Michigan Framily Reunion, August 4-7, 2017. Womyn of color and friends are welcome to come in to visit, share stories, network, make music, drum, play a board game, share poetry, offer a spontaneous workshop, lead discussions, make new friends and love on old friends. Please come and celebrate our various cultures and share our ideas and friendship together!
